After the amazing birth of my son in Florida in '03, making a big move to the DFW area in the summer of '04, and the birth of my beautiful daughter in the Fall of '05.....my thirst for creating music was still very much alive.  I found an opportunity to devote a lot of time to recording "Under A Texas Sky" during the winter of '06-'07.   Blending  some older unfinished works with some new material,  arranging "Under A Texas Sky" was really a tribute to my wonderful family.  I think having that as my main theme gave the album a real natural and heartfelt feel that was better left to a more subtle,  less produced sound.  

      Not knowing many musicians in the area, working on a bit of a time crunch, and feeling a personal connection to this album....... recording all of the instrumentation for "Under A Texas Sky" myself seemed only fitting.  Creating this album was both fun and rewarding for me and I hope you are able to draw some enjoyment and maybe some reflection from this piece of work.  

      Although having done a lot of recording previous to this, "Fare Thee Well" was my first real album.  A collaboration with musician Ethan Scoggins, all of the music on this album was performed by the two of us with the exception of 'The Fight' which had Amanda Scoggins lending her expertise on viola. Ethan is a wonderful musician, and working with him on this album was an adventure and a priveledge!  We recorded  this at multiple locations(wherever we could get free time) around central Florida over the course of about two years. "Fare Thee Well" would not have happened had it not been for the expertise and help of Matt Ryan.  He spent a lot of time working on this with us and I owe him a huge thanks.

       "Fare Thee Well" had pretty much sat dormant since the time it was finished in 2003 until now!  It has been remastered and is now available for the first time. There are some great songs on this album and I hope you enjoy it!
